Mayra has been creating gallery-quality one of a kind
and beautiful functional stoneware pieces for over 25 years,
selling nationwide.

A graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts, Mayra also studied art
at the Instituto de Allende in Mexico.

Mayra was employed as a full time production potter and studio technician
for ten years with Eric Norstad Pottery in Sausalito, California in the 1980's.

Mayra founded Dragon Song Drums in 1993 producing original design
stoneware doumbek drums, sold in stores nationwide.
 
Mayra's studio is located in the foothills of the Sierras
in Badger, California.
